After that, all i had to do was run Doom3 from the folder, with the dhewm3 files extracted in the Doom 3 folder , and it runs like a charm. Basically, the game runs when you DO NOT use steam to launch the game, and you have run the game by double clicking the dhewm3. In fact, i made a dhewm3 shortcut that is on my desktop, and it works fine.

However, I am having trouble getting the game to save my progress, which is the bug that I am trying to fix now Apparently, the Autosave's and manual save files don't seem to take, and for whatever reason i am effectively unable to save my progress in the game. I would really appriciiate any help with this problem if anyone has had a similar issue in saving their games in DOOM3, and if anyone can help me to save my games?
